This policy explains how Dolly Social ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or get in touch with us. We are the data controller for the information you provide. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@dollysocial.com.
What we collect
When you complete our enquiry form we collect the information you give us, which may include your name, business name, website or Instagram handle, email address and the details of your enquiry. We may also collect limited technical data automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and general usage information, through our hosting provider and any analytics we use.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and hold a discovery call, provide our services, and where relevant to follow up about working together. We do not sell your data.
Lawful bases
- Your consent, which you give by submitting the enquiry form.
- Our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, balanced against your rights.
- Performance of a contract, where you become a client.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third parties to run the website and process enquiries, including our form provider (Formspree), our hosting provider (Hostinger) and, where enabled, analytics services (such as Google Analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Some may store data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, for the duration of our working relationship and a reasonable period afterwards for legal and administrative purposes. We then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@dollysocial.com.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookies Policy for details.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
